CZ will introduce the CZ 700 M1 Sniper rifle at the 2001 SHOT Show in New Orleans, Louisiana in January.
CZ has a long history of producing Military and Law enforcement firearms.
Famous for Battle rifles, submachine guns and several pistol designs as well as the originators of the Bren gun, the 700 M1 is CZ’s first foray into the Precision rifle market.
The CZ 700 M1 is built on a completely new action, the bolt is rear lugged and has a 60( throw. It features a permanently attached Weaver style scope rail, a detachable 10 round magazine, an oversized trigger guard and bolt handle for gloved hands, adjustable butt plate and cheek piece and a full length equipment rail on the fore end.
The 700 M1’s stock is an ergonomic laminated thumbhole style for maximum shooter comfort, other features include a 2 position safety located right behind the bolt handle for easy operation and a hammer forged barrel for maximum accuracy.
The Suggested retail price for the CZ 700 M1 is $2097.00.
