February 1999
CZ’s rifle line has been restyled for the American sport shooter and hunter and will be introduced at the 1999 SHOT Show in Atlanta, Georgia in February. Included in the American Classic restyling are the ZKM 452, CZ 527, and the CZ 550.
The ZKM 452 American Classic rimfire rifle features a premium Circassien walnut stock with classic American styling, 18 LPI checkering, and a 21″ free-floating barrel with recessed target crown. Also new is the full-length receiver dovetail in standard 3/8″. The rifle still maintains its 5 round detachable magazine (10 round .22LR available).
The CZ 527 American Classic centerfire rifle has all the features of the CZ 527 Lux rifle in an exceptional package. Made just for American shooters, the CZ 527 American Classic features a detachable 5 round magazine, a classic American pattern stock, 18 LPI checkering, a free-floating barrel, and a recessed target crown.
The CZ 550 American Classic centerfire rifle is modeled after the CZ 550 Lux and features a classic American pattern stock, 18 LPI checkering, a free-float barrel, and a recessed target crown.
