CZ 550 American Safari Magnum – LEFT HAND!
CZ-USA is pleased to announce the long anticipated CZ 550 American Safari Magnum (ASM) Left Hand chambered in .375 H&H; Magnum.
The CZ 550 American Safari Magnum Left Hand model is a mirror image of the popular right hand version. The LH model is left bolt, left port with the 2 position safety mounted to the left side of the receiver. The barreled action is fitted to a straight comb walnut stock with a right side cheek piece and double stock reinforcing crossbolts.
The American style stock was designed to be used primarily with optics, but is comfortable to use with the express sights as well. The straight comb of the stock reduces the muzzle rise characteristic of the original lux pattern stock of the European styled 550 Safari Magnum. Because the rifle recoils straight back, with less muzzle rise, follow up shots are faster with the American style stock.
The 550 ASM is a direct descendent of the famous Brno 602 and CZ 550 Safari Magnum. As a result, it retains the quality and features of them as well, including its forged square bridge receiver, controlled round feed Mauser style claw extractor, single set trigger, hammer forged barrel, 3 leaf express sights, and integrated scope bases.
